To locate the place where our workshop will take place, please note in particular the address of the physics building,
Wiedner Hauptstraße 8-10,
which is a street adjacent to "Karlsplatz/Oper", where you probably will start your search. If you arrive by underground, look for signs directing you to either "Karlsplatz" or "Wiedner Hauptstraße". If you do not immediately find Wiedner Hauptstraße, but find yourself in front of the old main building of the Technical University, turn right, i.e. West. On Wiedner Hauptstraße, you will first notice the library of the TU Wien, which is adorned with a huge artistic owl. The physics building, fairly modern and pale green, is the next one down the street, number 8-10. Once there follow the signs to the first floor to registration (in front of lecture hall HÖRSAAL 1), which starts on Wednesday, August 10 on 8:15 a.m. As announced, we shall ask for a minor registration fee, 10 Euro, which allows you to participate in the coffee breaks and poster session, and to access our internet facilities. The workshop itself will take place in lecture hall NÖBAUER HÖRSAAL on the second floor (color code yellow).
In the lecture hall, there will be a beamer, a conference notebook (unless you prefer to use your own), an overhead projector, and large blackboards. You can bring an electronic version of your talk by USB memory sticks, or send it by e-mail for upload on the conference workshop to rebhana@tph.tuwien.ac.at. In particular speakers of the Wednesday morning session are requested to send their electronic versions in advance.
